Locanda Aurilia, un nome antico che rievoca la
tradizione: l'osteria, l'ambiente familiare, i piatti
semplici e genuini. Una tappa d'obbligo da 150
anni sulla strada del Santo che porta a Padova.
Prima era Osteria con Locanda e stallo di cavalli,
sosta per viandanti e carrettieri. Ora, piacevole
meta per buongustai alla ricerca di sapori che la
tradizione ha conservato.
E' così che l'hanno voluta papà Dino De Marchi
e mamma Antonietta venuti qui nel 1952. Così la
stanno evolvendo i loro figli: Ferdinando, sommelier
e patron in sala; Osorio, chef; Lucia che riceve
gli ospiti.
Tradizione e ospitalità veneta, trovano qui gelosi
custodi con una cucina rigorosamente stagionale
di piatti veneti e padovani con rinnovata fantasia,
qualche piatto di cucina foresta non manca.
Un'enoteca all'altezza del miglior Bacco.
Infine, le camere con i migliori comfort.
Nel vicinato, splendide ville venete, in particolare
villa Wollenborg e villa De Angelis, colorano il
paesaggio ricco di storia e di opere d'arte: Padova,
l'antica Patavium Romana a 20 Km., come pure
Castelfranco con la sua cinta muraria medioevale.

Locanda Aurilia, an old name that recalls tradition: the
tavern, the family environment, the simple and genuine
dishes. Following the road of "Il Santo" that leads to
Padua, it has be considered the right halting place
for over 150 years.
Before, it used to be a tavern with inn and stable, halting
place for travellers and carters.
Today it has become a pleasent destination for gourmets
in search of those flavours that only tradition can
conserve. This is how daddy Dino De Marchi and
mummy Antonietta who came here in 1952 wanted it.
In fact their sons and daughter are working to achieve
this: Ferdinando, sommelier and head waiter; Osorio
chef; Lucia who greets the guests.
Tradition and hospitality of the Veneto region find here
jealous keepers of strictly seasonal cooking of Venetian
and Paduan dishes with a touch of fantasy. Some foreign
dishes may also be found. The stock of vintage
wines can face the highest request possible. Finally,
the rooms are provided with the upmost comfort.
In the neighborhood magnificent Venetian villas,
particullarly villa Wollenborg and villa De Angelis,
embellish the landscape rich of history and works of art:
Padua, the old Roman Patavium at 20 Kmts., as well as
Castelfranco with its medieval city walls.
